Social and Community Services

The Social and Community Services Pathway introduces students to target populations, cultural diversity, and community agencies, while utilizing a real-world job shadowing project to explore human services careers. Students master essential crisis intervention skills, the human services code of ethics, and care coordination strategies specifically tailored for individuals and families living with disabilities. The pathway concludes with an advanced capstone course focused on clinical interviewing, assessment strategies, and treatment planning to address behavioral health, addiction, and wellness across the adult lifespan.
