ABOUT INDIAN TRAILS CAREER COOPERATIVE​

Indian Trails Career Cooperative was established in 1977 with just five school corporations. Today, it has grown to include eleven partner school corporations, serving more than 5,000 high school students enrolled in career and technical education (CTE) courses across the CTE District. Indian Trails provides administrative and logistical support to its member schools and writes and manages federal, state, and local grants. These grants help schools expand and improve their CTE programs, upgrade equipment, and ensure students are learning on the latest technology used in today’s workforce.

We also invest in professional development for teachers​, counselors, and administrators, creating opportunities to explore new ideas, share best practices, and connect with peers across the state and nation.

VISION

The Indian Trails Career Cooperative will continue to proactively recruit and develop personnel, programs, and financial resources in order to provide and promote Career and Technical Education programs in identified areas of need for the 21st Century for our students and communities.

MISSION

We will accomplish our vision by:

  • Seeking input and developing business relationships
  • Meeting present Career/Technical State Standards and Tech Prep Legislation Standards
  • Providing professional development for staff as needed
  • Maintaining and improving current assessment programs
  • Being involved in development/implementation of new programs and to reap financial benefits from grants
  • Being open and flexible to providing the best possible opportunities for students
  • Remaining connected with the State Network for benefit of finance and program opportunities.
