Precision Agriculture

The Precision Agriculture Pathway introduces students to global agricultural systems and agribusiness concepts, fostering leadership development through FFA and Supervised Agricultural Experiences. Students learn to leverage cutting-edge technologies like GPS, GIS, Variable Rate Technology (VRT), and UAVs, which prepares them for the Part 107 UAS certification, while mastering crop management, soil analysis, and integrated pest control. The pathway can culminate in a precision agriculture capstone course where students apply data-driven farming strategies and advanced technical skills in an intensive work-based learning environment.
