The Pre-Nursing/CNA Pathway introduces students to healthcare systems, medical terminology, and systemic anatomy and physiology to build strong clinical communication skills. Students then advance to specialized nursing assistant training, mastering basic patient care, the disease process, and dementia care in preparation for the state Certified Nursing Assistant exam. Finally, the pathway can conclude with a healthcare capstone that explores medical law, electronic health records, and behavioral health.
