Biomedical Sciences and Technology

The Biomedical Sciences and Technology Pathway introduces students to human medicine, bioinformatics, and body systems through a hands-on investigation into the death of a fictional person. Students analyze physiological systems under stress, design monitoring software, and explore diverse medical interventions ranging from pharmacology and gene therapy to prosthetics and surgery. The pathway culminates in a capstone course where students design innovative solutions to 21st-century health challenges and present independent research to local healthcare and industry professionals.
