The Horticulture Pathway introduces students to the global agricultural industry and foundational agribusiness concepts, building leadership skills through FFA and Supervised Agricultural Experiences. Students engage in extensive greenhouse and laboratory work to master plant propagation, floral design, pest management, and advanced soilless growing systems like hydroponics and aquaponics. The pathway can conclude with a horticulture capstone course that allows students to apply their advanced knowledge and technical skills through an intensive, hands-on work-based learning experience.
