Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education Pathway introduces students to the foundational history, child development theories, and licensing regulations necessary for establishing safe, high-quality care environments. Through hands-on observations and field experiences, students learn to design developmentally appropriate, anti-bias curricula that support physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth from conception through age twelve. The pathway also emphasizes specialized strategies for early literacy development and the effective care and inclusion of exceptional children.
