Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
The HVAC Pathway introduces students to the mechanical construction industry, covering industry history, basic electricity, customer service, and essential OSHA 10-hour safety training. Students develop core technical skills by studying refrigeration cycles, piping installation, and the operational sequences of gas, oil, and electric furnaces. The pathway progresses to advanced service and troubleshooting, where students learn to read electrical schematics, conduct combustion testing, analyze mechanical problems, and master refrigerant recovery and charging procedures.
