Welding Technology

The Welding Technology Pathway introduces students to the foundational principles of oxy-fuel cutting, blueprint reading, and rigorous AWS safety standards before advancing to hands-on mastery of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (stick) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG). Students develop multi-position welding skills using various electrodes, wire-feed systems, and transfer methods on real-world joint configurations. The pathway culminates in an intensive capstone experience focusing on advanced TIG welding, pipe welding, and structural fabrication, preparing students for immediate career success, apprenticeships, or other postsecondary programs.
