Design Technology
The Design Technology Pathway guides students from the fundamentals of the engineering design process to advanced 3D modeling and manufacturing concepts. Students begin by mastering industry-standard sketches and 3D CAD software, blending mechanical detailing with creative architectural site planning and Building Information Modeling (BIM). The pathway culminates in a mechanical design capstone where students apply solid modeling, geometric tolerancing, and additive manufacturing techniques to solve complex industry problems.
